Look at our amazing weather the last few days. Good weather to start riding our horses and getting all of that nasty winter hair off of them!

Don't Forget to start getting you coggins and bring them to the Open Horse shows!

Our last meeting for March was cancelled due to a lack of members attendance! We nnee the input of all of our members. We value your opnions.  It seems every year we beg for everyone to attend the meetings, and yet we don't get the attendance. Then at the first open show, we get a ton of complaints and ideas. If you have ideas, it is best to bring them forward now, while we have the opportunity to put these ideas in place or not.

Some of the items discussed at the meeting are as follows:

We need to start trying to get our meetings started on time. If you plan on eating at the meeting it is always best to try to be there a little earlier than the scheduled meeting.

We have an idea to place some AQHA classes in either our June or August show. In these classes you would have to opportunity to earn a few extra AQHA points. However, we need to get as much input as possible to see if this should occur at such a late date. 

We will also be discussing the open show classes, and the rules! I have emailed the board the updated rules for the open show. I will bring a copy of them to the meeting for everyone to decide on then!
