Its going to be starting that time of year to get our horses out of the barn! Taking the moth balls off of them, and riding to get ready for the upcoming horse shows!

Don't Forget to start getting you coggins and bringing them to the Clinic and Open Horse shows!

At our last meeting we had elections Our new officers are:

President: Anita Paniagua

Vice President: Alberta Barrett

Secretary & Webmaster: Tammy Uschan

Treasurer: Marion Paine

Board Members: Darryl Abbe, Suzanne Perez & Jeanette Abbe

Some of the items discussed at the meeting are as follows:

We need to start trying to get our meetings started on time. If you plan on eating at the meeting it is always best to try to be there a little earlier than the scheduled meeting.

Also, once the meeting has started we need to try to keep to the topic at hand, take turns speaking, and giving everyone the right to have the floor when they are suggesting or discussing their opinions and/or ideas.

 Also, if we are to bring a new topic to the meeting or new suggestion, it has been asked by the President to make sure that you have all the needed fact and figures so that the club can make a decision on it at that time.

At the meeting we have formed subcommittees.

Della has formed her committee for contacting and hiring all of the open show judges.

Anyone needed to request a topic to be discussed at the meeting that cannot attend need to have it in writing, via email or handout.

Other topics: Next years buckle awards, work assignments, Stalls for the open shows, and more marketing for the open shows.

Please do not forget to send in your membership. Our new membership fees are:

Youth: $15

Single: $25

Family: $35

Do not forget to sign up for the clinic, spaces will fill up fast and the deadline for the reduced priced will be February 23rd. You can sign up at the meeting. I will post a flyer to the web tomorrow!

Dave Golden is a great clinician, come and learn new techniques, and pointers he may have! He will also be one of our AQHA Horse Show Judges in Waco this year! hat a great way to see what he may look for at an AQHA show!
