AWARDS BANQUET:
The Awards banquet (12/06/08) is quickly approaching as is the holiday
season. You must RSVP by 11/15/08 in order to have a seat at the banquet. Please watch the Recent
& Upcoming Events page for more details as they become available concerning the cost and meal selection.
ATTENTION 2008 OPEN SHOW SERIES PARTICIPANTS -- THE
FINAL RESULTS FOR THE BUCKLE WINNERS HAS NOW BEEN POSTED. PLEASE MAKE A NOTE THAT THERE HAVE BEEN CHANGES MADE DUE TO
WORK HOURS NOT BEING COMPLETED.
ATTENTION:
The AQHA show in Waco on September 13-14 went ahead as scheduled. We missed a lot of
regular attendees due to the weather and hurricane Ike so the number of entries was extremely low with only a little over
100 entries per day, but all went well anyway and I believe everyone having a good time despite the circumstance of Mother
Nature outside. Go take a look at the pictures taken at the AQHA show to see what you missed.
MONTHLY MEETING:
Our next monthly meeting will be held at Pizza Hut in Harker Heights right off of Hwy 190 by HEB on October 28, 2008, meeting starts at 7:00 p.m.
Everyone is welcome even those just interested in what we are all about and what is forth coming in the months ahead.
Remember we need all of our members input to make this club a huge success. You can make a difference but only if you
are present at the meetings to help mold the future of our club. Hope to see everyone there.

mail to the address on the form. Remember, you must be a current member in order to be eligible for year-end awards.
