Meeting Minutes

September 2008 MEETING MINUTES:

MEETING START:  Marion called the meeting to order at 6:55pm with 9 people in attendance.

TREASURER’S REPORT:  Marion gave the treasurer’s report Toni made motion to accept Della 2^nd the motion.  Motion passed and report was accepted.

MEETING MINUTES:  The August meeting minutes were handed out and Tammy made a motion to accept the minutes as written and Toni seconded the motion.  The motion passed and the minutes were accepted.  

OLD BUSINESS:

• Issue with pictures from Triple D Photography have been solved, Della asked we contact them directly to get pictures.
• Cotton Patch Menu was given to Jewell to schedule meals.  RSVP date set for November 15, 2008.
• Only persons who RSVP will be guaranteed seating at banquet to be held December 6, 2008.
• Buckles have been ordered and will be here by banquet.
• Cheryl had a nice MTQHA t-shirt on at AQHA show, would like to look into pricing.

NEW BUSINESS:

• Open show for 2009 briefly discussed again, no dates, but we have dates of Williamson County Shows so we do not double book.
• Nominations for next year open positions will be done at meeting in October.
• Della got MTQHA 3 new sponsors, all members are urged to look for sponsors.

NEXT MEETING will be held in Harker Heights at Pizza Hut on October 28 at 7:00 p.m.
